Howe supplied condensing units are an integral part of our split-systems. Each of these condensing units has been engineered to operate the corresponding sized ice flaker.
These units include:
Suction accumulator
Oil separator with oil return line
Separate high pressure and low pressure switches
Head pressure control
Heated and insulated receiver (cold ambient units only, high & moderate ambient do not have heaters or insulation on the receiver)
Suction filter
Liquid line filter-drier and sight glass
Electric controls and wiring to match Howe ice flaker panel with contact points to operate the following indicators (low oil pressure, high discharge pressure, low suction pressure, compressor run)
Parallel piping on multi-compressor units (*A101-R40**-A-*)

Modular Remote High Side Condensing Units Air-Cooled Model 1000-6000 condensing units are all engineered with the correct capacity, components and controls to match each and every Howe Rapid Freeze® flake-ice machine. These condensing units include an insulation and heater for the receivers, suitable for use in cold ambients up through 95°F conditions. These condensing units are designed for unexcelled quality, reliability, and long life. They are durable, energy efficient and available for a wide variety of electrical voltages.
(4) Modular Remote High Side Condensing Units Air-Cooled Models MA1000-6000 moderate ambient condensing units are all engineered with the correct capacity, components and controls, to match each and every Howe Rapid Freeze® flake-ice machines. These condensing units are designed for unexcelled quality, reliability, and long life.
